Lawrence J. Panaro, 95, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2024. Larry was an amazing Dad to seven daughters: Ann (Steve) Florian, Jan (Robert) Paffinger, Nancy (John) Kozak, Donna (Gordon) Brown, Paula (James) Cole, Patricia (Scott) Sturgill, and Maria (Greg) Pearson. He was also a doting grandfather to 20 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Born in Cincinnati, Larry was the oldest son of Frank and Thecla (nee Gannon) Panaro and older brother to the late Frank (“Toby”) Panaro. He attended St. Lawrence school and Elder High School where he made life-long friends as a proud member of the Elder Class of '47. Larry grew up in the “Little Italy” neighborhood on Queen City Ave. with his many cousins, aunts and uncles. As a child, he watched the construction of both the Union Terminal and the Western Hills Viaduct. When reminiscing about baseball, his favorite sport, he described his experiences at Crosley Field where he witnessed Babe Ruth bat against the Reds. Funeral Service: Funeral has been held. |

Phyllis Jones, 79, born on March 14, 1945 to Edna (nee Johnson) and Dutch Burton; passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on May 1, 2024. Phyllis is survived by her longtime partner, Dennis Cronin, her daughter Holly (Tom) Heming, her granddaughters Spencer & Emory and her sister Carolyn (Gilbert) Phipps. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers David Burton & Donald Spraker. Phyllis and her family moved to Ohio from Kentucky in at an early age and she graduated from Amelia High School in 1962. She was driven to work hard and had a few jobs but her career really took off when she got her real estate license in 1977. She worked tirelessly and fearlessly, often times around the clock. She was a perfectionist and this was reflected in her approach to her profession and how she served her clients, as well as how she lived her life. Keep it Simple and Less is More were two of her favorite expressions. Her hard work, determination and drive gained her many loyal clients and friends over the years, along with many awards, often times being named in the top 1% of Realtors in Greater Cincinnati by the Cincinnati Area Board of Realtors and the Ohio Association of Realtors. She enjoyed traveling to her favorite destinations with Dennis; Nantucket, Chicago and Hilton Head. She found much joy and happiness spending time with family, especially her cherished granddaughters, Spencer & Emory. Phyllis leaves behind a legacy of love and generosity. Her family and friends will miss her deeply. We know she is celebrating her eternal life with our heavenly Father. A private service was held at TP White Funeral Home. Phyllis was laid to rest in Mt. Loving father of Patty (Tom) Worrall, Jim (Lisa) Parchman, Jr., Mary (Kevin) McClellan, Peggy (Lance) Lohr, Chris (Cheryl Eckelman) Parchman, and Anna (Gary) Sheanshang. Cherished grandfather of Tommy (Sam Grimm) Worrall, Joe Worrall, Mary Margaret McClellan, Patrick (Becca) McClellan, Sean (Jae) McClellan, Olivia (Alex) Phillips, Elena (Brandon) Cantelmo, Jimmy Parchman, Christopher Parchman, Allison Sheanshang, and Jack Sheanshang. Proud great grandfather of McKenna, Max, Nova, Stella, Prim, Eden, Kassius, Adelaide, and the late Kallen, Dear brother of William (Shirley) Parchman and the late Caroline Miller. Passed away January 26, 2024, at the age of 87. Jim was a proud U.S. Marine Corp Veteran. He worked over 50 years in the real estate industry and brought ReMax to Cincinnati. Stephen N. Junker, 88, Beloved husband of Elaine Junker (nee Dwyer). Loving father of Steve (Stephanie) Junker, John Junker and Beth Hughes. Cherished grandfather of Hailey, Avery and Brooklyn Junker and Isabella and Madison Hughes. Dear brother of Judy (late Vince) Lasita, Mary (Tom) Malone, Kathy (Pat) Hennessy and Mike (late JoAnn) Junker. Proceeded in death by his parents, Norbert and Alberta (nee Gramza). Steve graduated from Holy Family in 1949, Elder High School in 1953 and Xavier University in 1957. Steve was a talented and successful athlete. He started his football career at Elder High School as a Freshman. He then went on to attend Xavier University on a football scholarship. He was elected captain his Senior year. Steve was inducted into the Xavier University Athletic Hall of Fame and was awarded the Legion of Honor, Xavier’s highest award for athletes. He was selected to play in the college All-Star Game versus the NFL Champions, the East-West Shrine Game as well as the North vs South Senior Bowl. Steve was selected in the 4th round of the NFL Draft (48th pick), where he enjoyed a spectacular rookie campaign with Detroit with multiple catches and three touchdowns in the 1957 Playoff and Championship Games. He was considered for Rookie of the Year, losing to the great Jim Brown. He was also proud of winning the Army Base Championship while in the service for the Berlin Airlift Crisis in 1961. He played in the NFL for 6 years before knee injuries ended his career. He scouted in 1963 for the soon to be Atlanta Falcons franchise before ending his scouting career with the Dallas Cowboys. He left scouting in 1967. He met Elaine Dwyer and married his beautiful bride in 1968. He started his longtime career in real estate ultimately owning and becoming the broker of Steve Junker Realtors. During this time, Steve enjoyed and was known for being a great softball player for his prodigious home runs. Steve and Elaine welcomed their first son Steve in 1968, followed by son John in 1971 and finally to finish off the family, Beth was born in 1976. He loved coaching his son John’s football team at St. Antoninus grade school. He compiled a record of 23-12-3 and led the 8th grade team to the CYO Championship game in 1984. He truly enjoyed coaching those teams. He was a wonderfully kind and humble man with a terrific sense of humor. He fiercely loved his family and his Catholic faith was unwavering. He will forever be loved and cherished in our hearts and memories. Steve passed away on December 13, 2023 surrounded by his family at the age of 88. Visitation will take place on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at 9:30 AM at St. Antoninus Church, 1500 Linneman Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45238 until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM. Bruce Arnold McCormick, 87, of Fairfield, Ohio, passed away on Monday, July 3, 2023. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 12, 1936 to the union of Edwin Rice McCormick and Marian Janette Anderson. He worked as and was passionate about being a real estate agent. He spent time volunteering in his church and in the hospital. Bruce, being a very polite man, would always go out of his way to help others. He enjoyed playing handball and was proud of his championship status and earned trophies. Bruce loved golf outings with his son and friends on Saturdays and was a regular at Skyline in Fairfield. James A. Stofko & Mary Sylvia “Sis” (Eysoldt) Stofko suddenly left this world within days of each other on March 12th and March 16th respectively. Jim died unexpectedly and suddenly in the early morning hours of Sunday, March 12th. Jim was an amazing multi-sport athlete at Our Lady of Lourdes High School in Cleveland, OH where he is a member of the athletic hall of fame. His success led to a football scholarship to Xavier University where he played tight end for the Musketeers. Upon graduation in 1966, Jim eventually became a staple in the Cincinnati area real estate world for 51 years while working as general manager of Sibcy Cline Realtors. Lifelong friend of Rob & Pam Sibcy. Sis died peacefully in the early morning hours of Thursday, March 16th. Sis and Jim met while he was a student at Xavier University and they married on June 18, 1966 at St. John’s in Silverton, OH. She was a proud graduate of St. John’s Elementary and Mount Notre Dame High School class of ‘61. Jim and Sis gave all they had to their boys and all their sports endeavors at Archbishop Moeller High School. They were fans of Moeller High School where they had a son and/or grandson playing for 20 seasons over the years. Their home in Montgomery was a second home and hangout for the entire Moeller Family where Sis loved to cook for the kids. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Michael A. FAULKNER, Sandra K., (nee: Burgess) “Sandy”, 72, of Lebanon passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 4, 2023 while vacationing in Florida. Her husband, Mike was by her side and held her hand until she peacefully passed. Sandy was truly a Lebanon girl and was born September 19, 1950 at Dr. Young’s office in downtown Lebanon. She was a proud graduate of Lebanon High School, class of 1968. Sandy was best known for her 40 year real estate career beginning with Henkle Schueler Realtors and then Comey and Shepherd Realtors and teamed with her husband Mike for 25 years. Anthony J Mancini, JrAnthony J Mancini, Jr. passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, January 16, 2023, at the age of 48. Tony was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. He became a Blackhawk at St. Dominic for grade school and graduated from Elder High School as a lifelong Panther who bled purple on Fridays. As an enormous Buckeye fan, he also bled scarlet and gray on Saturdays. He was a soccer enthusiast who coached for many years. Tony was also a dedicated Realtor for both Cagney Weisker and Coldwell Banker. During his spare time, Tony was an avid golfer, a Hilton Head traveler, film connoisseur and a giver of wonderful advice and endless laughter. Service:

David Lee Robinette, age 58, of Cincinnati, OH, passed away on December 24th, 2022. Dave loved his family deeply. He lived a life of service to God’s people, serving at Mariemont Church for 9 years and as senior pastor of Calvary Alliance Church for 23 years. He served his country for 7 years in the Army National Guard, receiving special achievement medals during his service. Dave was a talented singer, sharing his love for music in many different performances and musical groups throughout the years. His family, church and all those who loved and knew Dave will miss him dearly, and we rejoice knowing that he is with his Savior.

James Lawrence (Larry) Willey, 84, of Cincinnati, Ohio died peacefully on December 3, 2022 surrounded by his family. He was born on April 12, 1938. He graduated from Defiance High School in 1956 and went on to attend the University of Cincinnati from 1956-62 where heplayed college basketball from 1957-1960. He was drafted by the Cincinnati Royals NBA basketball team but chose to forgo this to continue his education where he then attended Washington University where he received his MBA in 1964. Two years later, he married the love of his life, Joan Schultze, on May 7, 1966. Later on, he served as the President of the Cincinnati Board of Realtors in 1985. Visitation:

Thomas Joy Dix, 87, Realtor with The Everest Group Inc., passed away on August 17, 2022 at Hospice of Cincinnati. He was born on May 9, 1935 in Delaware, Ohio to the late George and Ruth Dix. He earned undergraduate and graduate degrees from The Ohio State University and was an avid Buckeye. Among his numerous professional and civic accomplishments, he initiated the Ohio River Scenic Route, which was awarded a National Scenic Byway designation and resulted in an economic impact of over $2 billion annually on affected counties. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Phyllis Dix, and two sons, Dennis Dix (Dana Burton) and Douglas Dix (Diane). A celebration of Tom's life will be scheduled at a future date. In memory of Tom, donations may be made to Alcoholics Anonymous.

He was the first male President of the Women’s Council of Realtors, a District Vice President for Ohio Realtors, a National President of the Real Estate Educators Association, a Director for Ohio Realtors, and a teacher of numerous CE courses. It is with our deepest sorrow we inform you that Joyce Ryan, long-time MLS Listing Coordinator, passed away on December 17, 2020. Joyce was known for her love of movies and was an honorary Aunt to many of her co-workers' pets. She especially enjoyed her time at the MLS speaking with the members, especially the administrators. Joyce retired from CincyMLS/CABR in 2016 after 37 years of service. A celebration of Joyce's life will be announced at a later date.
